A home on
the internet.

The starting point

I own tomasferrer.com and wanted to turn it into a personal website: somewhere to introduce myself, collect my work, and gradually share more of what interests me.

A clear structure

The main reference was Clayton Schoeny’s website: a persistent profile, direct navigation, and a career story that is easy to scan. JuanFe’s website provided a second idea: giving projects their own pages, with room to explain the thinking behind the work.

This first version combines a single-page introduction with a separate project story. On smaller screens, the sidebar becomes a compact menu so the content has room to breathe.

Small by design

Astro generates static pages. A small amount of JavaScript handles the mobile menu and highlights the current section. The design uses a dark green sidebar, a warm paper background, and typography that gives the words space.

What comes next

The structure is in place. The next step is to add selected analyses and public contact links, then connect the finished site to tomasferrer.com.
